Autumn Sunday

featuring model Anastasiya Yakunina, this shoot happened by itself one sunday afternoon amidst a flurry of chaos. She was flying out of capetown the next day and we had to get these pictures printed before she left. It all worked out in the end. And the pictures are spectacular.

Abandoned Ghosts

I found an abandoned building in a small and very quaint town in west of Norway, where I am currently staying as I write this. It is totally unique in its solitude as the town is very well kept. There's not a blade of grass out of place and it's very conservative. This happened to be an old school, filled with debris and ancient ghosts of the generations of children that went there. I knew when I saw it that someday i'd shoot there. Anna I and and the school came together that day. Here's the story.

These photos are taken out of a batch of photos I shot for a family in Bergen, Norway. The idea of the day was to get some family portraits and typical friendly material, but Synneva kept shifting between ages, kid one minute and woman the next... I found her in these photos, unlike any of the others. Seems like she didn't know it herself. Amazing girl, amazing family.
